I'm a traveler, writer, and teacher dedicated to inspiring positive change through storytelling and authentic relating.

Welcome to Intentional Steps! My name is Jessica Jaye (call me Jaye). I'm determined to live a healthy, happy, and carefree life. That means doing work that inspires me.

In 2021, I walked away from my life in the United States to connect with nature and myself. Since then, I've found a general sense of peace and wellness. As a person who once struggled with PTSD and an Anxiety Disorder, this feels like the biggest win of my life.

Along my travels, I've investigated topics around mindfulness, social and emotional wellness, healing from trauma, and peace. As a result, I now share what I've learned through writing blogs, a book, and my podcast! Support my craft by donating or subscribing for weekly or monthly updates.

Jaye is a certified teacher in English as a Foreign Language and middle grades (age 10-15) social studies and English literature. She has experience working with students as young as  4 and as old as 65 and would be happy to support your learning goals!

Writer & Author

Since Jaye was a child, she knew that she was a writer. At the age of 28, she wrote and self-published her first book, The Art of Having Nothing: A Story About Trusting Yourself, and started writing a blog. Now, she works to write and sell stories about her life and travels. Ask her about writing support or hiring her for a project.

Buy My Book!

Hitchhiking down the east coast of the United States can't be that hard, right? In an effort to "restore her faith in humanity" Jessica Jaye takes a backpack, a smile, and $20 emergency cash to prove what she already knew to be true: people are intrinsically good.
